Summer, Summer, Summertime!

Summertime! I work at an elementary school and just like the students, I look forward toward summer break. I love working with the kids but it takes a lot of work, mentally, emotionally and sometime physically. There were days when I got home and just passed out on the couch! It is what we call Teacher Tired. And boy, am I Teacher Tired!
Which is why Summer is my favorite season. Vacation, barbecues, picnics, lounging by the pool. All the things that make Summer fun. Which is why I love the song Summertime. It reminds me of the summers I had growing up. Now that I am older, I still have fun summers, just a little different from back in the day.
One way that I and I am sure most of you enjoy summer is by going on vacation. I mean who would not love to go on a cruise or stay at a lovely hotel and or resort and just max and relax in the sun? I love to travel but the one thing that I do not like is the packing! Why? Because of what I call the "What if" factor. When I am trying to figure out what to pack, I constantly ask myself, "What if it gets really chilly?". "What if we go somewhere fancy to eat?". "What if", "What if", "What if"! I love the travel. Hate the packing. And don't get me started on the TSA if traveling by plane! Packing and making sure I have travel size toiletries. Stress and hassle. Not the 2 things that should be associated with going on a relaxing vacation. Which is why I love that Avon carries travel friendly items that I can take with me. Less stress. Less hassle. And yes, that was a really shameless plug.
Now, do you have to buy Avon to pack on your next vacation trip? No. It would be great, especially if you chose me as your personal Avon Rep, but as long as you can find a way to take the stress and hassle from your vacation trip, choose whatever travel friendly toiletries that are available to you.
Bottom line is this. Catch up on your much needed rest. Enjoy the travel. Enjoy the vacation. Enjoy the Summer!
