Skin So Soft: Celebrating 60 Years!

Who knew that 60 years ago, when Skin So Soft was launched that it would still be going strong today? And that out of 130 years of Avon, it is Skin So Soft that most people know of and one of the first products asked about when talking with an Avon Representative?

Although the Skin So Soft line and grown and expanded over the years, it all started with the iconic bath oil. Touted then as 'Skin So Soft Emollient Bath Oil', it was made with emollient oils and scented with balsam, evergreen and herbs. The SSS logo was used in the first packaging of a glass perfume like bottle with green writing. And though the packaging has changed and evolved over the years, the original scented oil has not. It has retained the same properties as the first formula. Soothing and moisturizing with a fresh herbal scent.

As mentioned earlier, the Skin So Soft line has expanded over the years. There is Skin So Soft Original, made with jojoba oil, Skin So Soft: Soft and Sensual, which has a spicy floral scent and Skin So Soft Radiant Moisture, and updated formula of silk proteins and illuminator technology. In addition there is also Skin So Soft Supreme Nourishment, which is a line of ultra nourishing bath and body formulas that include macadamia nut oil and a nutty vanilla scent as well as Skin So Soft Comforting Shea, a collection of bath and body formulas made with hydrating shea butter. Last, but certainly not least is the Skin So Soft Fresh & Smooth, created to help remove unwanted hair while keeping your skin, what else? Fresh & smooth!

And of course, let's not forget the line that protects us from the bugs and the sun! That's right. The Skin So Soft's Bug Guard line!
