It's that time of year again. The summer is winding down and if they have not already returned to school as of yet, the kiddos will be waiting for the school bus and some of you will be in that much loved car rider line. The daily meal routine will be changing from deciding what to put on the grill or where should we order from, to meal prepping on Sunday and preparing lunch boxes weekday mornings. Let's see what we can do to make that transition as simple, easy and less time consuming as possible!
Slow Cooker
The slow cooker has always been my favorite go to, especially in the cooler seasons. They are great for soups and stews. Plus the added bonus of set it and forget it! Here is a way to make dinner and have something to pack for lunch for the kiddos. Magic Chicken! It is versatile and simple to make, saving you time in the kitchen. Chicken tacos, salads and sandwiches. And you can do the same with beef!
One Pot Meals
Just the name alone makes my heart go pitty pat! One pot says to me: Less work, less mess and a great time saver! Here is an example of what I am talking about:
A whole meal for the family and in under 60 minutes. Who would not love that? And leftovers are great to take for lunch the next day, that is if there are any!
