Keeping Off The Pounds During COVID

A few posts back, I had talked about cooking during COVID. That post was about finding quick and easy ways to make a meal that is delicious and filling along with the ability to keep foods handy in your pantry. But since we have been home for quite a while now, I have been hearing stories of people who are gaining the COVID 15. It's like the Freshman 15 from college, only instead of eating everything in sight on and off campus, you are cleaning out
the refrigerator and pantry. Not to mention keeping Grub Hub and Door Dash busy! Time to make some changes that will be kinder to your body and your budget along with keeping it tasty as well. Let's get started!
First, step away from the phone and close the fridge! You can do it! There you go. Good job! Ok, second, be willing to do just a little prep work. I know, I know! Who wants to cook, especially now that we are going into the summer season. It will be too hot! Not to worry! These meals can be done in the slow cooker, grill and or oven.
