I was at an event about a month ago and I had set up a table with my Avon items on it. I cannot tell you how many people stopped by as said things like: "Wow, I did not know Avon was still around!". "I have not seen a brochure in ages", "My grandma used to buy this all the time!" As an Avon Representative, I have to tell you, I am still very surprised when I hear comments like this. I realize that Avon does not advertise like other companies such as Revlon, L'Oreal, Cover Girl, and other cosmetic companies. But Avon does make the news on occasion.
