Flavors Of Fall

ree

It's September already and Fall is right around the corner. Summer seemed to go to quickly. We were grilling and making cool frosty beverages to enjoy on our back decks or by the pool and then the next we are ready to break out the crock posts for stews and looking for anything pumpkin!

Which brings me to meal prepping in the new Fall season. Now don't get me wrong. It is still warm enough to use the grill, so don't put it in storage just yet. However, grilling steaks, hamburgers and hot dogs are not going to be viable for much longer. But don't worry! I won't be giving you any recipes or ideas for soups or stews that will keep you chained to the stove for hours on end. I mean, the blog is called Tracey's Time Savers after all!

Ok, so besides pumpkin, what are the other flavors that makes Fall one of the most comforting seasons of the year? Apples and berries of course! Yes, I knew you knew that! And don't worry, we will get to your beloved pumpkin shortly. Getting back to apples and berries, who would not want something that could not only save time but can mutli-task with the best of them? With that being said, ladies and gentlemen, I give you...., (drum roll please)..... Spiced Apple Berry Sauce!!!

This flavorful sauce can be added to pretty much any protein that you love. Chicken, pork, or ribs. But wait, it's not done yet! You can even add it as a dessert topping! Yep, you heard correctly! Don't believe me? See for yourself!

See, told you it was a multi-tasker! What will you try it with first? Meal or dessert?

And of course Fall is not complete without the comfort of a steaming bowl of soup and crusty bread. Or a sweet treat and a cup of spiced warmth. Remember, this is all about saving you time so having these Fall favorites will not take long at all. The only decision you need to make is choosing the kind of soup you would like and how you want your beer bread prepared. I know, I know! A very tough choice, but I have faith in you. Take a look at at the many choices you have to make a quick and easy homecooked meal. And the best thing is that you can mix and match!

Oh and did you see that last image? You thought I forgot didn't you? Well, I didn't! It is pumpkin bread with maple glaze. Which will go nicely with a cup of Oh My Chai tea. And if you want to switch it up, how about a slice of Cranberry Orange Bread?

There are more Fall flavors that TS has introduced. Check them out for yourself. I hope you will share with me what Fall flavor you will try out. I would love to hear from you. Till next time!
