This is a very short post about caring for your hands during Covid-19. Depending on the state you live in and the type of work you do, you may be social distancing, working from home or sheltering in place. But what we all have in common is working on stopping the spread and with that, washing hands is key! The World Health Organization has been peppering the media with ads stating this very thing. So please do as instructed. Keep with social distancing. Work from home if possible. And of course, wash hands frequently. And don't forget to keep lotion handy to prevent from over drying. If you do have to go out, carry a tube of lotion with you. Wash thoroughly and then moisturize. Soaps and hand sanitizer can be very drying. You don't want to have your hands to start becoming dry, cracked and then get irritated. Especially health care workers as your hands are constantly being washed throughout the day.
Cleanse and moisturize. You can keep your hands sanitary in order to help to flatten the curve and pamper your hands at the same time. Treat them with care.
